ROTORcap Extended

ROTORcap Extended, by David Lindecrantz of ROTORtype, is a free bitmap caps font with a strict late-90s screen aesthetic. The letters are built from chunky square modules, but the feel is not merely blocky - it is wide, mechanical, and slightly futuristic, with open rectangular forms and crisp interruptions that keep the rhythm active.

It makes sense anywhere you want that early digital tone to do the talking: poster headlines, record sleeves, title cards, interface-inspired branding, and short editorial cover lines.
