Sideburn Bob by JOEBOB graphics is a free hand-drawn display font with tall, loosely formed letters and a lively, uneven silhouette. Curved strokes swell and taper like marker lettering, with soft bends and blunt, slightly irregular ends.
It is especially convincing on gig posters, where its stretched shapes can give band names an offbeat handmade identity. The lettering also suits playful food packaging. Album covers and event graphics use that improvised quality as part of illustrated scenes.
