Slimbo Bold, designed by Boris Schandert of boodas.de, is a free monoline serif display font with a poised, fashion-led look and unusually open proportions. Needle-thin strokes, wide geometric capitals, and small ball-like details at selected joins and ends give the lettering an elegant silhouette with a hint of Art Deco ornament.
A fashion label is its most convincing setting, though its elongated forms also suit perfume packaging, magazine covers, and formal invitations. In branding, the spare lines and jewel-like dots can turn a name into a decorative emblem rather than ordinary lettering.
