Spongy by Ray Larabie is a free monoline handwritten font with loose, rounded letterforms. Its strokes wander gently in width and alignment, giving the writing an easy, hand-drawn bounce. Open curves and long, looping extensions keep the shapes airy despite their generous proportions.

For children's publishing, the soft construction can bring warmth to story titles and activity pages, yet it is equally at home on casual cafe packaging and playful event posters. In those settings, the looping lines can become part of an illustrated trail, border, or doodle rather than serving only as ordinary lettering.
