St Charles Ornate

St Charles Ornate by Studio ROP and OMEGA Labs is a free Celtic Gothic font with a medieval, thorn-cut rhythm. The letters mix broad blackletter curves with hooked, leaf-like points and ragged notches, giving the whole design a carved, heraldic feel rather than a smooth calligraphic one.

It fits naturally in pub signs, fantasy book covers, festival posters, chapter openers, and band merch where a free font needs old-world drama without going full manuscript.
