Tally Mark is a free symbol font centered on hand-drawn counting marks. Its upright strokes are spare and nearly monolinear, with softly rounded ends and slight shifts that keep the groups from feeling mechanically ruled. Diagonal crossbars and long horizontal strokes introduce the familiar rhythm of marks scratched onto a wall or notepad.
Counting, scoring, and record keeping make the font especially apt for game graphics and classroom materials. It can also lend posters and merchandise a blunt, improvised reference to keeping score, passing days, or tracking repetitions. Across these uses, the repeated strokes act as both notation and image, linking practical counting with a rough human-made motif.
