Thirsty for Souls

Thirsty for Souls, by Nihilschiz Fonts, is a free eroded display font with a rough horror-poster presence. The letters are heavy and old-fashioned at heart, but their surfaces look eaten away by blotches and chips, giving the font a grimy, worn-in texture that feels more decayed than simply distressed.

It fits naturally in Halloween flyers, pulp-style book covers, haunted attraction branding, band artwork, and title cards where a short line needs that battered, supernatural mood. As a free font, it makes most sense in big display settings, because the broken texture does much of the work and gives even plain words a cursed, weathered tone.
