Tidal, designed by Matt Yow of PYRS Fontlab Ltd., is a free chunky serif display font with a broad, almost inflated silhouette. Its softly rounded slabs and deep, pinched joins make the capitals feel dense and exuberant, with small interior spaces cutting through the mass.
Themes of seaside fun, retro entertainment, and comic spectacle suit its oversized curves, making it useful for festival posters, album covers, and playful editorial spreads with a buoyant, unabashed sense of broad humor.
