Torynitialen 字体

Torynitialen by Manfred Klein, based on the work of 17th-century French typesetter Geoffrey Torey, is a free set of floral initials with an unmistakably historical cast. Large roman capitals sit inside dense fields of curling leaves, blossoms, and fine engraved lines, so each letter reads as both type and ornament.

Designers working on historical or literary subjects will find it especially suited to publishing, museum graphics, and event invitations. In book covers and chapter openings, the decorated capitals can take the place of a small illustration rather than acting as ordinary display text.
