Vivian Contour by Dieter Steffmann of Typographer Mediengestaltung is a free outlined retro serif display font built from swelling curves, flared serifs, and sharply tapered joins reminiscent of nineteenth-century poster lettering. Fine inner contour lines add a carved finish.

It can turn a title into a piece of period decoration, an approach especially apt for theater posters and vintage entertainment graphics. The curled serifs and swelling forms also suit tavern branding, heritage packaging, and music merchandise, since the outlines echo engraved borders.
