Wymaz by Erwin Denissen of High-Logic is a free hand-drawn display font with a rough, cartoonish streak. Its letters lurch between broad blocks and pinched curves, with uneven edges that resemble quick brush or marker work. Small gaps and stray interior marks give the strokes a scuffed, cut-up texture.
It can turn a title into part of the artwork, especially for underground music posters and comic covers. The crooked silhouettes also suit skateboard merchandise and mischievous children's entertainment, where polished lettering would feel too orderly. Wymaz is most convincing on posters, where its irregular shapes can echo loose illustration and collage.
