Xero Thin Italic by Rob Barba of Megami Studios is a free thin italic sans serif with rounded forms and a relaxed lean. Its strokes end in soft angled cuts. Irregular curves keep the lettering airy and hand-drawn.

As a light futuristic title, it suits technology posters and independent music artwork. Fashion branding and event graphics gain a less corporate edge from its loose silhouette. The curved letters can echo orbital lines or simple abstract illustration.

Xero is an intentionally loose creation of a humanist font. Played rougher than its counterparts Helvetica and Arial, Xero works well for those who want to go that route but don't want the sharply defined lines of others in the humanist family.
